Kenny Lewis Memorial Football Match

Kenny Lewis was many things: a much-loved friend, a treasured colleague – and a valued member of successive Hertford football teams for much of his time at college. It therefore seems fitting to celebrate his memory on the football pitch, and we are inviting old and current Hertford members to come together on Sunday 19 November to play a friendly football match in his honour. This will be a very informal game so, although we naturally expect there to be an element of friendly competition, the emphasis will be on different generations coming together to remember Kenny.

The match will be 60 minutes long (30 minutes each way) with a 10-15 minute break for halftime, and light refreshments will be provided after the match. We anticipate that many more than 22 players will sign up, so if you would like to play but are worried about your fitness levels, you can play as much or as little as you wish! Male and female players are very welcome.
