Cybergeddon or Cyberbabble? Ciaran Martin in conversation
1 May 2020 - 17:30
Hertford alumnus Ciaran Martin is Director of the National Cyber Security Centre, one of the key components of Britain’s security, cyber-security and counter-espionage system.
In its four year life under Ciaran’s leadership, the NCSC has become known as Europe’s – and even the world’s – leading expert and protagonist in the world of cybersecurity. Are we heading towards an Orwellian world in which governments know all about us? How vulnerable is Britain to cyberattack? Are the fears totally overblown? What are the upsides in the brave new cyberworld?
Join Principal Will Hutton and Ciaran for the first of this term’s Hertford Conversations. We’ll be on Zoom at 5.30pm this Friday 1st May – please see below for a link to join the webinar. Please contact the Principal’s EA with any enquiries.
