In the light of continued developments with Coronavirus (COVID-19) alumni dining rights are not currently being offered. We hope to welcome you back to college once it is safe to do so.
Hertford College is delighted to offer dining rights to recent alumni donors for Sunday Formal Hall.
Alumni who have kindly donated to the college within the last 12 months will be able to book for themselves, as well as one guest, to enjoy a formal dinner on one Sunday night per year during term time. Space permitting, alumni diners will be seated at High Table.
The price of £30 will be charged at the time of booking to cover food, wine and service, and places must be booked in advance through the Development Office. Please note that there is a cap of six alumni dining spaces available each week, including guests, so we advise you to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Bookings can be made up to the Wednesday before the dinner. Unfortunately cancellations after Wednesday cannot be refunded.

Who can book?
Alumni who have donated to the college within the last 12 months can book for Sunday Formal Hall. If you are unsure if or when you donated, contact the Development Office who will be able to assist.
When can I dine at College?
Alumni can book to join us for Sunday Formal Hall throughout term time. Only one booking per alumni donor can be made per year.
How much does it cost?
The price of £30 will be charged at the time of booking to cover food, wine and service.
When should I book?
Bookings can be made up to the Wednesday before the dinner. However, there are only six alumni dining spaces available each week including guests, so we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.
Can I bring guests?
Due to the limited number of spaces available each week, alumni can only book for up to one guest for Sunday Formal Hall.
What is the cancellation policy?
We want to make sure that as many alumni donors as possible can enjoy these dining rights. For that reason, we would appreciate if you could let the Development Office know if your plans change unexpectedly. In the event of cancellations after Wednesday when dining that Sunday, refunds will not be given.
