12 June 2026:

This week, work has focused on the former chapel, the new extension, and the West Range.

Within the former chapel, the initial low-level props and braces are being removed under direction of the Temporary Works engineer. The membranes are being extended up the chapel walls, and construction of various internal vertical elements has commenced.

The external extension area liner walls have been steel fixed, and the southern wall has been poured. The other walls are being prepped for pouring. The internal columns are being constructed and poured in conjunction with the external walls.

In the West Range, the work previously reported to make good the walls, fix floorboards in advance of them being sanded and fix lights, tracks and sockets continues.

The underpinning within the lift pit is complete and the final survey of the existing lift shaft has been issued to the Design Team.
