Paul Manduca has had a long career in the financial sector following his graduation from Hertford in 1973. He became CEO of Rothschild Asset Management in 1999 and was subsequently CEO of Deutsche Asset Management from 2002 to 2005. He joined the board of Prudential in 2010 and was elected chairman in 2012. The Prudential is currently capitalised on the stock market at some £48bn and has announced the demerger of its UK businesses into a new PLC to be named M&G Prudential.
For the last two years Paul has chaired TheCityUK’s Advisory Council, an industry body which incorporates all financial and professional services.. He is also Chairman of the £2bn Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc, and Chairman of the peer-to-peer lender Ratesetter.
