John Helferich

John is an early career researcher working on European security and the changing international order, and serves as a college lecturer in Politics at Hertford College. His research is interdisciplinary in nature and draws on sociological, psychological and evolutionary approaches to international politics. He holds a DPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford and a Master’s in International Security (summa cum laude) from Sciences Po, Paris. He is passionate about teaching and has enjoyed teaching both matriculated and visiting students at Oxford across a range of Politics and International Relations papers.
