Dr Aruna Nair

Aruna Nair read law at Brasenose College, Oxford, graduating in 2006. She went on to complete an LLM at UCL and a DPhil at Oxford, again at Brasenose. After six years as a lecturer at King’s College London, she returned to Oxford to join Hertford at a Tutorial Fellow in 2019.

Aruna teaches Land and Trusts on the undergraduate syllabus, and contributes to the Advanced Property and Trusts postgraduate course on the BCL. She is the author of a monograph on the law governing the tracing of misappropriated funds, a textbook on land law, and a number of articles and book chapters on aspects of English property law. She is currently working on a monograph on priority disputes in property law.
