Most law students go on to work in the legal sector. It is also true that most of those tend to find employment with the large City firms located in London. However, this is not the only path! One or two students a year decide to become Barristers as opposed to Solicitors. Also, some students choose to work in smaller, more local or more specialist legal firms. Some students have gone into legal publishing and others have used a law degree as a springboard to a wide range of careers; including legal academics, teachers, and even as television directors!
