Tri-Innovate Hertford Success
25 April 2018
Congratulations to Hertford-based student startup Veratrak who won first prize in this year’s Tri-Innovate competition, held jointly with Wolfson, Hertford, Pembroke, New, and Jesus colleges.
This year’s pitch final was held at the new Oxford Foundry, the University’s space dedicated to entrepreneurship, and was awarded by a panel of judges including Hertford alumnus John Salmon (1973) and donor Dr Gerald Chan who has supported the initiative for the last three years.
In addition to winning the first prize of ÂŁ8,000, Veratrak was also one of a number of startups selected for the Oxford Foundry’s Lev8 accelerator programme, designed to help student startups at a crucial point in their development.
Congratulations also go to Undried Ink, Hertford’s other finalist in this year’s competition which was comprised of first-year students.
