The shortlist, drawn up by the Guardian Higher Education Network’s expert panel, also includes Oxford’s new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Louise Richardson, and Sir Keith Burnett, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sheffield (who was formerly Head of the Division of Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences here in Oxford!).
