Hertford to Herculaneum

Professor Mark Robinson, lecturer in Archaeology at Hertford is interviewed in a BBC television programme about the Roman town of Herculaneum, which was destroyed by a volcanic eruption. Many students studing Archaeology and Anthropology at Hertford have been involved, in Oxford and on site in Italy, with a university research team analysing material from the Herculaneum sewer to find out more about the varied diet of its inhabitants.
