Hertford historian awarded Carwardine Prize

We’re very proud of recent Hertford graduate Joe Carter Hepplewhite (History, 2010), who has been awarded the 2013 Cawardine prize for the best thesis on US history. Joe’s thesis was ‘”What was consent?” An analysis of the shape and limits of consent in the transferal of Mohegan land from 1637-1700′.
