Accounts Clerk, Ewa Gluza, yesterday took part in a Brexit panel discussion and debate with Lord Adonis at Oxford Town Hall.
The event, which was attended by over 100 people in person and online, brought together different groups from the city to discuss the impact of Brexit on Oxford. The panel discussion was chaired by Dr Ruvi Ziegler of the University of Reading and brought together Ewa, Andrew Adonis as Chair of European Movement UK, health technology manufacturer Susan Hartman, and Magdalen undergraduate Dominic McGinley.
Ewa spoke about her experience as a Polish citizen in Oxford, drawing on her experience in both finance administration and hospitality. When she isn’t working in the college bursary, Ewa is the Chair of Oxford Polish Association. Within the east Oxford community, she is a social activist, mentor, and two-time winner of the UK Polish Woman of the Year competition organised by the Polish Embassy.
A video recording of the event will soon be available on the Oxford for Europe website.
