(Dis)united Kingdom?
17 November 2017
Congratulations to Hertford history lecturer Naomi Lloyd-Jones, who is co-editor of a new book called Four Nations Approaches to Modern ‘British’ History: A (Dis)United Kingdom.
Her co-authored introduction, with Margaret Scull, discusses the four nations model for thinking about the separate histories and historiographies of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Another Hertfordian contributor to the volume is Foster Professor of Irish History Ian McBride.
