Alumnus & Honorary Fellow Richard Fisher has been awarded the Woodrow Wilson Award for Public Service.
This award is given to individuals who have served with distinction in public life and have shown a special commitment to seeking out informed opinions and thoughtful views. The awards reflect former President Woodrow Wilson’s belief that “there is no higher religion than human service. To work for the common good is the greatest creed”.
Richard Fisher is president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. In this role he serves as a member of the Federal Open Market Committee, the Federal Reserve’s principal monetary policymaking group.
