Collections are college exams that take place on Friday and Saturday of 0th Week every term. Papers start at 9.30am and 2.30pm on Friday and 10am on Saturday, (please arrive 15 mins beforehand) and are held in the Hall or the Baring Room. Gowns (but not sub fusc) must be worn, and exam conditions apply.  The schedule can be found here.

Tutors inform the Office of any papers they wish to set, and a timetable is put up outside the Lodge on Wednesday of 0th Week and updated twice-daily until Collections are over. The timetable for this term's collections will also be available on this page from Wednesday of 0th week.  Please keep checking this during 0th week for any updates.

Following a decision by Academic Committee, Collection papers will be returned to students as swiftly as possible, and always by 4th Week.

Principal's Collections are brief meetings between a student, their tutor, the Senior Tutor and the Principal, where the student's progress is discussed. They are administered by the Principal's PA who posts a timetable outside the Lodge towards the end of term. Principal's Collections allow all students to be seen by the Principal each year, and can be a helpful way of reflecting on a student's career at Hertford.Gowns should be worn.

Do email the Senior Tutor, Professor David Hopkin, if there are any matters you wish to raise.
