A new anthem for Hertford

On Sunday 28 October, a newly composed anthem written for Hertford College will be given its première. Samuel Pegg has written a new setting to Like as the hart, the English translation of college’s motto, which is itself taken from Psalm 42. The anthem is presented by the Hertford Society in memory of alumnus Brian Galpin.

The anthem will be sung by Hertford College Chapel Choir at the regular 5.45 pm service of evensong in the college chapel. All are welcome.
