Graduate scholarships

Each year at least two Senior Scholarships are awarded. These carry a stipend of £5,000 a year, with entitlement to accommodation in College during the tenure of the Scholarship which is charged at the normal rate, plus certain SCR dining rights (please see here). Anyone reading for a higher degree in Oxford is eligible to apply, whether or not already a member of the College, and those who are members of the College may apply at any stage of their graduate course. In some years the College also awards a Starun Senior Scholarship (for Polish Studies), a Mortimer May Senior Scholarship (for Geography) an Irish Government Scholarship (for Irish History) and a Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers' Scholarship (for studies relating to instrumentation).

In 2017 Hertford is offering four scholarships; please see here for full details. The closing date for applications is Friday 17th March 2017.

The application form can be found here.

Guidance notes for referees can be found here.
