Adam Kellett
Hi, I’m Adam and I’m a freshly graduated geographer from Hertford College, about to start studying a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Sheffield.
Over those three years, I have thrown myself at multiple access and outreach programmes, running OUSU’s flagship outreach project Target Schools as well as becoming a part-time officer for access and admissions in my second year. The chance (for a third year in a row!) to support the access work that Hertford champions serves to bring me back to this campaign once more, even as an alumnus in pastures new!
As well as my love of access, I made hobbies of Australian Rules football, booking punk bands (once even DTB) and working in the glorious institution of Hertford bar, as well as making good use of Hertford’s Trinity Term punts. The college has always been a key grounding point to my time here, in a city where its very easy to get lost in dreaming spires. Its an element of Hertford that I really appreciate, and have continually espoused when helping at university open days or chatting with alumni in the telethon years preceding this one. It seems like a tradition now, and Oxford loves traditions, so I just had to come back for another year!
