Hertford’s hub for virtual events
Welcome to Hertford Virtual – the one-stop shop for all of our past online events. You can browse our Hertford Responds, 21st Century Survival Skills and more ad-hoc online webinars below.
As always, we love to hear your feedback on our events, whether that be in person or virtual! If there’s anything that you would like to see more of, or if you think you would like to be involved in a future event, please get in touch with the Development Office.
21st Century Survival Skills
Hertford loves a lively conversation. In this new series, Principal Tom Fletcher asks members of the Hertford community and special guests about the survival skills they believe we need but that we’re not always taught. Join us as we learn how to survive in the 21st century. Recordings are available to watch via the links below.
Hertford Responds
In order to somewhat quench our academic thirst during the lockdown and beyond, we launched ‘Hertford Responds‘. The series of webinars conducted by our fellows delve into some of today’s most important topics, whether that be the COVID-19 rapid tests being developed in Oxford, or how artificial intelligence could change our world, to global supply chains and flooding changes. Our fellows are leaders in their fields, and these webinars are a fantastic opportunity for alumni and friends of Hertford to learn more about their research. Recordings are available to watch via the links below.
Ad-hoc virtual events
We’re always looking to branch out and provide our alumni with even more interesting and engaging online events. Have a browse of our ad-hoc events, and let us know if there are any more that you’d like to see. So far, you can get to know our new Principal Tom Fletcher with Fiona Bruce, or delve into the real life implications of the recent US Presidential Election! Recordings are available to watch via the links below.
