Recruiting Medics in Kent
29 April 2015
Today Dr Catherine Redford, Hertford’s Outreach Fellow, will be visiting the site of a former fort and military hospital – now Fort Pitt Grammar School in Chatham, Kent.
Florence Nightingale established the first Army Medical School at Fort Pitt and we’re hoping that Catherine will encourage some aspiring Medics to apply to train at Oxford. But the group of talented year 12s she will work with are interested in eveything from Maths to Philosophy, so she’ll also be showcasing the full range of subjects Hertford and other Oxford colleges offer. Find out more about our work in schools.
