Day 11: VENICE! Bikes, gondolas, relief! Well done to everyone: a wonderful, mad effort.
Day 10: Rovereto to Bassano del Grappa. Injuries, rain clouds, but who’d have thought it? They are only one day away from Venice! If you’ve been holding off, why not sponsor them now it seems likely they will actually make it.

Day 8: rest day
Day 7: Amberieu to Annecy: gruelling climbs and some bike-shirt shaped sunburn.

After a well-deserved rest day for Day 4, Day 5 begins the second leg. For some reason, there are many puns about, and pictures of, leg shaving in this account of our heroes’ adventures. Dijon to Cluny: they’ve really cut the mustard.
