Fulbright success for Hertford lawyer
17 May 2015
Rajkiran Barhey, who graduated from Hertford with a first class degree in Law in 2014, has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Award to study in the US.
The Leon Jaworski International Law award will take Kiran to New York University for a year to study for a Master of Laws degree. She intendes to take courses in international and human rights law, as well as gender, race and the law. We might have predicted this success: while at Hertford Kiran was part of a winning debating team in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
