Fairies and Airplanes: MCR Academic Soiree
29 January 2014
This term, MCR Academic Soirees will be again taking place on Wednesdays in even weeks, at 5pm in the Octagon. These fortnightly events are an excellent opportunity to learn a bit more about the research conducted by our graduate students and Fellows.
The first one, on 29 January will be on magic: Dr David Hopkin’s talk is entitled “What are fairies for?” and Roberto Maffulli explains “Why do airplanes fly? (and doghouses don’t).”
